It’s time to pass the Illinois Human Rights Advocacy Protection Act
We need your help putting Illinois on the right side of history by repealing our state's unjust anti-boycott law that was signed by former Governor Bruce Rauner in 2015. The State of Illinois is actively suppressing human rights advocacy and shielding Israel from accountability by retaliating against companies that use economic means to put pressure on Israel.
We cannot let this stand.
The Illinois Human Rights Advocacy Protection Act (HB 2723 / SB 2462), introduced by Rep. Rashid and Sen. Porfirio, would restore protections for peaceful advocacy by repealing the state's 2015 anti-boycott law that targets advocates for Palestinian rights.

Watch the Trailer for “Boycott”
Boycott traces the impact of state legislation designed to penalize individuals and companies that choose to boycott Israel due to its human rights record. A legal thriller with “accidental plaintiffs” at the center of the story, Boycott is a bracing look at the far-reaching implications of anti-boycott legislation and an inspiring tale of everyday Americans standing up to protect our rights in an age of shifting politics and threats to freedom of speech.
